The Medifast Plan of Attack

If you are planning on using this diet to aid in your weight loss then you really need to consider a Medifast plan of attack to use in conjunction with the weight loss program to have your body in shape when you are finished the routine.  This plan will allow you to successfully ease yourself off the routine of using a supplement and shake based diet while minimizing the shock to your system for maximum success.

It is crucial that you combine your Medifast diet with a healthier lifestyle over all.  This means that you need to spend time exercising.  You don’t need to become a fitness nut for a successful Medifast plan but you really need to focus on at least walking 30minutes a day for your cardio fitness.  Don’t walk faster than you can handle but you really should push your limits each and every time you go for a walk.  Walking can burn off more fat than jogging if you do so at a quick pace because it is such an inefficient way to get around.  Work on speeding up every time and soon enough you will not only be looking great but your heart and body will also be much healthier.

Your Medifast plan should combine the walking with some strengthening exercises that you can complete in your own home.  Have a search for exercises that don’t require expensive equipment.  The best exercise you can do absolutely anywhere is the humble push-up.   You might struggle at first but if you make them a bit easier by putting your hands on your bed and feet on the ground you will take some pressure off your shoulders and back.  The push-ups will help build strength in your back, work your abs, and tighten up your arms and chest.

Another one to try is squats.  Your body weight alone will be enough to give your legs a big work out.  The leg muscles are the largest in the body so if you get them pumping you will burn fat a lot quicker.  The more muscle on your body the more energy your body needs to function so the quicker you lose unnecessary fat.  There are heaps of options for weight training without weights if you look around.  They are usually come under the term dynamic tension exercises.

If you decide to take part in the Medifast weight loss program or are trying to move onto the next step of your dieting life then really consider having a Medifast plan of attack to keep your body at a good fitness level to help ease yourself off the substitutes and Medifast Shakes.  You will feel much better for it!
