1. Walk Every Day
It’s easy. It’s free. It’s also a great way to get the exercise your body needs without resorting to intensive workouts at the gym. Aim for 30 minutes at an elevated heart rate every day.
2. Eat Throughout the Day
Don’t go more than 3 hours without eating. It’s the quickest way to derail your diet and weight. Having something to graze on will keep your metabolism in check, but make it a healthy snack of course.
3. Reduce Portions
Have you ever gone for meal and it was so huge it could have fed you and your partner? Well, just because it’s in front of you doesn’t mean you have to eat it all. Try cutting your meal portions in half and eating your meal a little slower. This will reduce your energy intake and will trick your brain into thinking you’re full.
4. Keep a Journal
If you know you’re undisciplined try keeping a food journal. It’ll let you see where you’re going wrong and act as a positive reminder of how well you’re doing when you’re sticking with it.
